Building, repairs and maintenance services privacy notice
This privacy notice is designed to explain how and why we process personal information about our building service customers.
Safeguards are in place to ensure that this data is kept secure and the privacy of individuals is protected.

How we collect information about you
Most of the personal information we hold for this service will have been collected directly from you. We may also hold your information because a customer provided it to us, for example as an alternative contact.
Purposes of processing your personal data
We need to process the personal information of property owners, their representative or carers when you use our building and contractor services. This includes administering requests, managing payments and contacting property owners about the requested work or relevant related services. We may also process your information in order to pursue unpaid invoices.
Categories of personal data and lawful basis
We may need to process some or all of the information listed below:
- contact details
- details about your service requirements
- some health information (for example if you ask us to install accessibility adaptations)
Under data protection legislation, our lawful basis for this use of personal information is that is done as part of the performance of a contract, or in order to enter into a contract. We may also process some information about you because it is in our legitimate interests.
Where we process sensitive personal data (eg health data), our lawful basis is that we have the explicit consent of the individual.
Who we share your personal data with
We may pass contact details to subcontractors to carry out repair or modification work on our behalf.
