Our Garden Waste Budget Conversation was open from 20 December 2023 to 10 January 2024.

Respondents were asked to take part in a short survey and answer a series of questions about the introduction of a small charge for the collection of garden waste.

Before taking part in the survey, respondents were asked to look at the broader Budget Conversation webpage to read through the background information and the Budget Conversation brochure.

The invitation to take part in the Garden Waste Budget Conversation was shared via social media and on the council’s website. Paper copies were also available upon request.

Information gathered during the Garden Waste Budget Conversation was used to develop a detailed proposal for the introduction of a subscription based garden waste service. You can read our Garden Waste Budget Conversation report below.
