Chesterfield Careline pricing and equipment
The Careline service is available from £14.50 a week.
There is a £75 one-off set up fee when you register, this covers the cost of us setting up your account, visiting your home to install your alarm unit, pendant and any additional equipment.
There is no contract – meaning you can sign up for Chesterfield Careline for however long you need us.
You may have to pay VAT for this service in addition to the weekly charge. We expect most of our customers to be exempt from VAT if they are living with a long term medical condition or illness, but you will need to complete a form when registering so we can apply the VAT exemption if needed.
Additional equipment to enhance your Chesterfield Careline service can be purchased for a one-off charge.
You can add additional equipment at any time – just get in touch to arrange installation.
Additional pendant - £40
Smoke alarm - £65
Issues an automatic alert if smoke is detected, we will check on you and call the emergency services if required.
Fall detector - £75
If you fall this detector will automatically alert us without the need for you to push the button.
GPS location service - £200
Helpful if you wish to still remain in contact with our team away from your home. Please note that while this device will enable us to speak with you, we may not always be able to attend to you in person, for example if you have travelled out of the local area.
Bed sensor - £90
Raises an alarm when it detects that a person has left their bed and failed to return within a set time period.
Chair sensor - £90
Installed under or on the cushion of a chair and used to monitor occupancy. The sensor will automatically raise an alert after a set period of time after weight is removed from the pressure pad, indicating a person may be at risk.
Brooch pendant - £42.50
Alternative to a pendant or wrist worn which can be pinned to clothing.
Any additional equipment that you purchase is your responsibility, and you will be charged for replacing lost or broken items.
Additional services are also included in our package and can be utilised if required at no extra cost to you, this includes:

- safe and well checks when friends and family are away
- signposting to further support
- fire safety checks
