We are currently looking for the perfect candidate to fill a vacancy for the role of team leader in charge of the building cleaning team.
The role involves the supervision of all cleaning staff who are responsible for commercial-standard cleaning of office buildings, vacant homes and communal areas in council flats. You will be focusing on:
- their performance
- standards of cleanliness
- ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered
- reviewing work schedules
- ordering cleaning materials
- monitoring all cleaning activities
This is a working team leader role which involves carrying out cleaning activities. Our ideal candidate will have experience of team leading/staff management. A background in commercial cleaning or comparable sectors would be very beneficial. You will be required to work some weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis, so flexibility is an essential requirement of this role.
You will need to be a proactive and positive person who can contribute to the commercial activities undertaken and have a positive influence on the reputation of the service.
A full driving licence would be preferable but is not essential. Please confirm this when applying.
