Angling is available to the public at Poolsbrook Country Park, Ringwood Lake and McGregor's Pond.

The council's angling lakes are well-stocked with a variety of coarse fish, including carp, roach and bream. The council leases the angling rights on the lakes to individual clubs who administer membership matters and the sale of day tickets.

Day tickets may be purchased from angling club bailiffs on-site, just turn up on the day and one of the club bailiffs will come along and collect your fee.
