Suppliers and contractors can find out about current council tenders and contracts in several ways.

• write in response to an advert in the press or the Find a Tender (FTS) service
• register free of charge on the council's e-procurement portal via Proactis - Supplier Network
• refer to the tendering portal Tenders East Midlands or the Governments contracts finder system

Council tenders and contracts may also be advertised in various publications, such as:

• Find a Tender service (GOV.UK)
• the trade press
• the local papers

The intention is to give existing and potential contractors and suppliers the opportunity to do business with the council. All council tenders will provide necessary details as in Tendering for Contracts.
