​Unfortunately, we cannot display everything in our collection but we regularly open our offsite stores so that you can explore items from the collection that have never, or rarely, been on display.

We also tell you how we care for and document the objects we hold in trust for the people of Chesterfield.

The museum is currently closed for refurbishment of the Stephenson Memorial Hall, which houses both the museum and the Pomegranate Theatre.

Although we are closed, watch out for Museum on the Move events - see our what’s on page for upcoming store tours events.
